Truth #1: I am a child of God. Conflict does not change this truth. 

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name... (John 1:12, NASB95) 

Truth #2: I am a friend of Jesus. Conflict does not change this truth.

No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. (John 15:15, NASB95) 

Truth #3: I have peace with God. Conflict does not change this truth. 

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ... (Romans 5:1, NASB95)
