Truth #1: I am the salt and light of the world. I can let my light shine even during conflict. 

You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5:13–14, NASB95) 

Truth #2: I am a branch. I can bear much fruit even during conflict. 

 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5, NASB95) 

Truth #3: I am chosen and appointed. My fruit will remain even though I am experiencing conflict. 

 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. (John 15:16, NASB95)
